Oh, it is good to be able to breathe!
Monday morning left one long, nasty, horrible weekend behind and began The Day for Answers. At 2pm I was tired of waiting, so I called DOC's office. I started with the people in the know, this time. Forget trying to get to DOC's MA! The first person that I spoke with was B in Medical Records. She found my chart and grabbed G - no idea who G was, at this point, but I'll talk to whoever wants to tell me anything. G found the result to my ULTRASOUND! Oh boy! Was I upset, now! Where in the world are the results from my MRI? She didn't have them! So she tells me that she will call Radiology and get those results and get back to me ASAP.
G seems to be a 'take charge' kind of gal. Twenty minutes later, she is back on the phone letting me know that the MRI still hasn't been read! She had B call her contacts in Radiology Medical Records and they let her know that their computer had been down. HA! The computer has been down 'FOR A WEEK?' G says to me, "that's what I said!" There is a Doc that will read it right now and G will have results for me by the end of the day! No apology from Radiology for the wait, of course.
3:45pm - G is on the phone and has my results!! The cysts are benign and Radiology recommends a follow up MRI in 6 months. PHEW!
Breathing never felt so good!
